Choosing your flowers by their season is also very cost effective and they will also be at their very best too.

Your wedding day is such an exciting and special time in your life and at Bud and Flower we understand that choosing your wedding bouquet, bridal party flowers and floral decorations for the venue and reception is a deeply personal decision. You will be guaranteed one to one personal service from consultation to delivery ensuring your flowers are one less thing for you to worry about.

We will be delighted to help you with your bespoke choice. From a simple, elegant, bridal bouquet, to a magnificent showstopper, our aim is to ensure that your flowers are everything you desire. We have a wealth of experience to help you find the right selection that will engage your senses and create magical memories that will last forever.​
BESPOKE WEDDING SERVICE
Most of our enquiries are through instagram, our website or personal recommendations. Having made contact we aim to get back to you within 48 hours. We like to have an initial chat before giving a quote to find out what our potential bride would ideally love. We can arrange to meet in our studio or over the phone. Any mood boards, pictures from mags or Pinterest would be most helpful at this stage and can be uploaded when completing the request for a consultation to give us an insight into what you would ideally love.

From our discussions we will prepare a quote. Each wedding will be tailored to everything you want. If your budget does not quite match your initial thoughts we can suggest alternatives.

To save the date we ask for a 25% non refundable booking fee which will be deducted from the total balance.
Couples tend to book between 12 and 18 months in advance although with we do have late bookings too. It is best to book early to avoid disappointment especially if marrying in peak season which is May through to September.

We will have many chats before your wedding day and a site visit will help us to select the best positions for your floral arrangements.
​
A week before your wedding we will order your flowers: We will collect and condition them so they will be at their peak condition when made up. Large arrangements for the ceremony and reception venue will be delivered and arranged on the morning of your wedding day having made prior appointments.
​
Your wedding party flowers will normally be delivered two hours before the wedding although we are very flexible..​

After the big day we will clear away and collect any of our vases and make sure everything is left as it should be.​

How Much Do Wedding Flowers Cost?

For the cost of floral arrangements for your Wedding allow 10 to 15% of your wedding budget.
It is very helpful if 'Brides-to-be' are up front about their budget from the outset so that their Florist can design something beautiful and within their limit.
There are four main areas that can impact the cost:
Where your Wedding is to be held and where your Florist is based.
The time of the year you intend to get married.
The Floral order itself.
Variety of Flowers included.

​If your wedding is located a fair distance from your Florist then delivery charges will be higher than a local location to the Florist.
Some Wedding venues do not require a lot of decoration like a country mansion or stately home, but a blank canvas like a marquee
will require a lot more thought and coverage thus being potentially more expensive. The more blank space you need to cover, the more
flowers you will need. Wall decorations will be more expensive than simple table arrangements. If you wish to keep within a budget then it will be worth considering just the main areas of the ceremony and venue. Garlands, and Floral Arches may be more impressive to your guests than lots of smaller designs. Consider using Greenery too as it is often less expensive than flowers but bring a lovely fresh feel to the venue.

The Wedding date can have a huge impact on costs. Flowers tend to be more expensive in the Winter and certain celebration dates like Mothers Day, Valentines Day, Easter and Christmas. If you wish to keep costs down order flowers that are in the season the ceremony is to be held. ​
Wedding Flowers
The more complex the arrangements the more time it takes to create them and the more expensive it will be. The same can be said for your bouquet. A simple hand tied seasonal bouquet with seasonal flowers is going to cost less than an opulent cascading style.

​​The varieties of flora and fauna used can impact your budget. As a quick example a Rose will be more expensive than a Carnation and a non native piece of foliage like a Palm leaf will cost more than British grown greenery. In addition a standard Rose is going to cost less than a branded Rose like 'David Austin'. Also consider British grown flowers over those grown and imported from abroad as these will have import charges levied on them which your Florist will have to pass on to you.
