Frequently Asked Questions

When it comes to planning your wedding flowers you’re sure to have lots of questions: Here are the answers to some which I get asked most frequently:

When should I book my florist?
As soon as possible! I regularly take bookings 12-18 months in advance especially for popular summer or bank holiday dates.

Do you require a booking fee?
Yes. I ask for a non-refundable 25% booking fee to secure the date which is deducted from the final balance.

When will I need to pay the balance?
The full balance will need to be paid no later than 4 weeks before your wedding day.

Do you charge delivery and set up?
Yes. There is a delivery and set up charge . Depending how far I need to travel to your location. I will let you know the delivery cost and set up to your venue when I provide your detailed quote.

Can you deliver some of the buttonholes to another address?
Yes I can if not too far or they can be left at the ceremony venue.

What time will my flowers be delivered?
Generally I’d deliver your flowers approximately 2 hours prior to the ceremony but I always aim to be flexible.

Do you charge for hire of vases / props etc?
Yes we do charge for hire of vases and props which will be included in the quote if ours are used: However if we are using an external styling or prop hire company then you will be asked to pay them direct.
If you are using our 'Florist Choice' package then we ask for you to provide these items prior to the Wedding Date.

Can we keep the flowers after the wedding?
Yes of course! I will only take back any hired items such as vases and other props. If you’re not sure what to do with all your flowers consider donating them to a local hospice or care home.

Is there a minimum order value?
I have a minimum order value of £500.00  for all wedding flower orders.
All flower orders from £500 to £950 are for collection only. For delivery and set up, all flower orders will need to be over £951 Plus delivery charges

How can we pay?
I can accept BACS, cheques or cash only

Are you insured?
Yes I  will have Public Liability insurance on the day of your wedding and can present the certificate to you should you wish to see it.
