I'm Christine but most people know me as Chrissy,

 

Being a Wedding and Events Florist my love affair with flowers started many moons ago: Even at the age of 3 I loved helping in the family garden tending to plants and watching them grow. I started working as a Saturday girl in my local florist at 15 and loved every minute.

 

After leaving school I was lucky enough to be given an apprenticeship with a Florist considered one of the best in Horsham and passed my NVQ2 by the time I was 18.

Having worked as a professional florist for over 20 years I gained my Advanced Level 4 City and Guilds Diploma at Merrist Wood College in Guildford proudly attaining 3 distinctions along the way.

Never happier than working on detailed designs, I started Bud and Flower in 2020.

I would love to hear about your special day and would be honoured to be part of it, and excited to hear your plans. Each Wedding and Special Occasion is different so it's not a case of one size fits all. Each one of my creations is made with Love and Care.

 

I grow many of my own flowers for my arrangements one being Sweet Peas buying seeds from a supplier who holds the National Collection that includes heritage varieties. I love their frilly nature and texture. I also grow the beautiful Dahlia but mainly source my flowers from local growers and flower auctions in Holland. I will only use the best and freshest flowers .

 

I would describe my flower style as Loose and Natural... Romanic and Organic.
